Notes

  1. ^ IFK Holmsund went bankrupt after the season. A successor club, Holmsunds FF, was started and played in the lowest division in the Swedish football league system in 1991.
  2. ^ IFK Göteborg may also have qualified for the European Cup as winners of Allsvenskan play-off, it is unknown which is correct.
  3. ^ a b IFK Norrköping (2nd team in Allsvenskan) qualified for the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup 1991–92 as winners of Svenska Cupen 1990–91 and thus Örebro SK and Östers IF were awarded the UEFA Cup spots.
